Un **belivable, isn't it?
The Chimp must have really gone off of the deep end to even think of this port deal!Makes you wonder if he has something else up his sleeve. And what's up those sleeves worries the hell out of me. On more than one blog I've seen warnings about March and jumping on the war bandwagon with Iran. Perhaps the port ownership/terrorists will move in quickly and simply bomb one port and then we will have a reason to blame Iran, blah, blah, blah.Ever think that he may have to get them to do it, cuz the MIHOP Cia/mafiosos have decided to turn their backs on him? Is this Bush's last resort? I mean is it really that simple?... I am glad I don't have a clue as to how his mind works, cuz none of it makes any sense at all. If it is just for the money- My God, how much money do you NEED??!!! Do you really live any better with 10 billion than you do with 1? Well, not being wealthy, I can't relate at all... but the souls of these bastards are just nonexistent.
Sometimes, I give Chimp the benefit of the doubt and truly believe for a brief moment that he must WANT to be impeached! He's tired of Cheney,etc...really mad at them! Maybe he is crying for help!

3. Sadly, your analysis really can not be believed
It's not really that simple. If they were going to MIHOP a terror strike, they wouldn't do it to a port run by their friends. You'll never get the Bushies if you keep on thinking in these black and white, two dimensional terms. The world is more complicated than that and the Bushites don't act out of motives of evilness. They act out of self interest. It is categorically against their interests to allow the sale of ports to Middle Easterners solely for the purpose of attacking them. If you demonize your opponents, you will never understand them.

And you think he might want to be impeached? Gah! Where to begin with such logic? He's not competent, but he's not retarded. He knows his job is to hang onto power and bolster the power of his interest group. Just because you and I are tired of Cheney doesn't mean Bush is willing to cut his losses or to cut and run from the sweetest job he's ever had. It's not about money for these people, it's about power and being in charge and helping their buddies. But don't think fo them as evil; think of them as truly self-convinced that when they grease Halliburton they're greasing the American interest. It's delusional, but it's not simple or wicked for wickedness's sake.

Begin by accepting this... Bush is not going to be impeached. There is no chance it'll happen in the current Congress--and by the next Congress the last thing the Dems are going to want to do is run an impeachment gambit in the incumbent's last two years--risking the installation of a new president to replace the lamest of self-wounded ducks.

Nope, we're stuck with Dubya--barring any unforseen pretzelifications--for the next three years. He won't be initiating any terror attacks on us. Mihopery is an utterly absurd suggestion to anyone who's seen what an inept bunch of boobs this crew is. The president will bungle along for the next 34 months running up deficits, cutting basic services, multiplying enemies, greasing down fatcats, and squawking "911" anytime someone reminds him there's a Bill of Rights.

One more thing: threats against Iran are 90% sabre rattling. An invasion can't happen for the sheer lack of troops. An airstrike remains a slight threat, but the chances of it being successful are damn close to nil. The political costs of doing so are too obvious for even Cheney and Rumsfeld to wiggle out of. This is not going to be Iraq all over again. The only threat we have against Iran is sanctions--which the Euros may actually be on board for--which means all the noise you hear about invading Iran is just noise--raising the stakes to force a compromise. Bushes handlers show every sign of knowing all they have is bluff now. And they're not even doing that very well.
