They wont admit Bush screwed the pooch
My fundy co-workers put the FUN back in fundy.

Here we sit, today the 23rd day of February in the year of the Lord 2006. To date, our esteemed leader has:

1) caused a civil war in Iraq after stating he must invade to give the people "freedom"
2) failed to capture, kill, or otherwise render harmless the man who killed 3000 American civilians
3) failed to capture the leader of the Taliban
4) effectively spent the budget surplus he inhereted and has run a national debt that will take not years but GENERATIONS to pay off
5) so many other fucked up things it is ridiculous and pointless to list

But they still support the fuckup. I swear to God they do. The only good thing I can about Bush is that he is consistent. His proven track record of fucking up everything he touches continues unbroken. The Midas Touch turns everything to gold, Bush has the Roto Rooter touch, it turns everything to shit.

But my fundie coworkers still support the idiot. These are educated scientists and engineers, but they blindly pledge allegience to this moron. The country of Iraq is now in a low grade civil war, even said so on FAUX, but they still support him.

It is insane. I am beginning to wonder if ain't time to thin the herd out a little because some of these guys are just too stupid to learn.

3. I agree completely
that some of the scientists I know who are Cons are blinded by their love of Bush. They will not address the data and make excuses for every mis-step he makes. I have lost much respect for most of these people. The worst part is...I have no idea what it will take to turn these otherwise rational people around to recognize the level of abuse all Americans have been subjected to.

5. I hear you Denali
I work with highly educated people and I tell you it is like some kind of cult; simply put, they value the interests of the GOP over the welfare of America - it is a sad, sad thing to witness and it makes me wonder if Americans ever really deserved the freedom she had if this is the result.

6. Ask them to...
Name one thing that Bush has not screwed-up and been right about.

Immediately follow up by asking them to put aside their "blind passionate love" for him.

Fundy - :wtf: Hmm.... maybe he ain't so great after all.

7. Problem is they still have enough gas and food.
Their pensions do not appear to be in danger. Time is ticking.
