They claim a "middle eastern male" left a briefcase behind in a bank and made a dash out of the door.

4. Well, I am just so damned sick to death of TERRA TERRA TERRA!!!
Beware the DUSKY MAN!!! Oooh, he has a briefcase!!!

Shit, what was wrong with those folks...why didn't they say, YO, homey, you forgot yer briefcase?? THEN, if the guy goes all bugeyed and runs away, that's when ya start worrying!

And of course they have to interrupt TV for it, making fans of soap operas all bullshit, so you have to deal with THEIR foul mood because their favorite "stories" were interfered with!

Hell, I guess I spent too much time in the UK during the IRA business...you kept your eyes peeled and your wits about you. People NOTICED if you wandered away from your bags!

9. I know, it's insane...
But the fear thing works for these wingnuts, gotta admit...

Keep everyone scared, and they aren't as apt to notice the illegal and shady stuff, like stealing $9 billion overseas, using illegal weapons (napalm) and torture, selling port control... oops! Well, it works most of the time! :eyes:

Bomb Squad Investigates Briefcase At Bank

POSTED: 2:04 pm PST February 24, 2006
UPDATED: 2:16 pm PST February 24, 2006

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities responded to a report of a "suspicious briefcase" Friday afternoon at a bank in Mission Viejo.

Authorities said the briefcase was left at a Washington Mutual bank branch.

Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said a bomb squad was dispatched to the location. The bank was evacuated.

Bank employees told authorities that the man was in the bank Wednesday to conduct a small transaction. They said he returned Friday, left the briefcase inside the building and walked from the area.

The bomb squad planned to examine the briefcase with a robotic device.
