The US most dangerous Spy, Larry Franklin, working as a parking attendant
http://www.ahora.cu/english/SECTIONS/opinion/2006/febrero/27-02-06a.htm

The most dangerous spy in recent U.S. history, Lawrence "Larry" Franklin, 59, is currently working as a parking attendant at an exclusive Casino and Racetrack in West Virginia while waiting to testify in the trial of his two accomplices.

According to a recent Wall Street Journal publication Franklin, an expert Pentagon analyst who personally advised Donald Rumsfeld, is working as a "valet" in the parking lot at the Charles Town Races & Slots, located in Charles Town, West Virginia between Baltimore and Washington D.C.

Charles Town Races & Slots is a private racetrack and casino specializing in video lottery, where 3, 800 slot machines—according to its advertisements— attract a wealthy clientele from the U.S. federal capital area.

While the Cuban Five, who were arrested by the Miami FBI, accused of espionage for infiltrating that city’s terrorist groups and given sentences including life imprisonment, wait in prison for a court decision, Franklin, a real spy, is collecting tips from gambling clients.

1. WV parking lot attendant
If Larry Franklin is making an honest living as a valet in Charles Town, WV, I say more power to him. This world needs more parking lot attendants and fewer jail inmates. Franklin's accomplices would probably be glad to trade places with him now, even more so when and if they are convicted.

6. No kidding, he finally found himself an honest job
and I'll bet the tips are rolling in. As long as he is OUT of government and willing to testify about the real rats in this case, I say let him enjoy his new career and the contact with the rich and famous it will provide him. Eventually, he'll work his way into another job serving the rich, and he'll be welcome to it.

If he can manage to rid us of Feith (for incompetence) and some of the other neocons, we will owe him our gratitude, not our censure.

2. There's nothing exclusive about Charlestown slots
He lives in that area, and has to pay his lawyers, somehow. AIPAC isn't picking up the tab, I guess.

Special Agents raided his home and found all those classified documents he had stashed away. Wonder if he was wearing a wire in December 2001 when he met Ledeen and Ghorbanifar in Italy?

Interesting that the indictment indicates he never actually passed any of the docs bearing classification stamps directly to Naim Gaor, Weissman or Rosen, but he did tell them about his stash and sent notes about the contents, making them accessories. He also made the initial approach to the AIPAC guys as they were having lunch in the Tivoli Restaurant in Balston with their Embassy contact.

Something tells me Larry was turned years ago. K. Kwaitowski says he's a stand-up guy, and was surprised.
