2. Really Simple Syndication
It's just one type of web feed. See here:

4. Really Simple Syndication- I use Sharp Reader to get the RSS feeds

I subscribe to all of my favorites... you can configure how often your reader goes out to get new posts.

In fact, you can subscribe to an RSS feed on CanOFun so that you would get all the new posts when something gets put on there.

15. One more way to think about it-instead of you having to go out
and click a link to every site you normally visit, instead you subscribe to their feed and all the posts go into your reader (sort of like email). YOu can then find, for example, all the Latest breaking DU posts, or subscribe to the NYTimes, etc. Then you just look through the headers in your reader and decide which ones you want to read (or delete them)-you can click on the link and go directly to the website to read the whole article.

13. Its on my toolbar, its not as complicated as you think
I personalize it with whatever site I want to put in it. You can download RSS feeds from whoever youre interested in and they send you little snippets of stories that you can click on and go to the site to read the full stories.

7. I just skipped that one. I still don't know what a "URL" is...
all that crap just makes my head hurt.
