US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will flex more than her diplomatic muscles when she demonstrates her personal workout regime on American network television this week.

In an unusual departure for such a high-profile official, Rice not only pumps some iron on the show, but also discusses how she manages to stay fit during her continual globetrotting and reveals strategies for coping with high-calorie banquets.

1. What in God's name is she thinking?
Women have enough trouble being looked upon as serious enough for major offices without doing workout tips on TV. Whoever advised her to do this was dumb with a capital d.

15. Perhaps the people she's trying to reach are the
'have mores', so she thinks the look works.
I agree with you, it's not working for me at all; then again, I've never seen a pic of Rice I like, doesn't matter the occasion.

while Americans drown. And to further "humanize" her she can personally lead Katrina survivors in a workout. That honor surely would make up for them losing their homes and loved ones.

Then she can move on and take her "Working Out With Condi" fitness show on the road to the Middle East, maybe even North Korea. Yeah, that's the ticket.

11. I had an accident on a treadmill with tennis shoes that put me out of
commission for 5 weeks. I COULD NOT drive a car for 5 weeks. Husband had to drive me anywhere or everywhere.....it was awful...and she gets on one with heels????
