Just Musing...What Will * Do After He Leaves/resigns/is impeached/retires?
He'll milk this till 2008 to be sure, but you know he won't sit on the ranch and screw CONdi or whoever, at every opportunity? Makes me nervous. What about KKKarl & DICK? (etc.)

45. Ding ding ding.
Then he'll die there within two to five years, for sure. In fact, wasn't this what he was going to do after '04 in the event that his reselection wasn't recognized by media?

7. Looking over his shoulder, trying to avoid war-crimes indictment
He may have to avoid traveling to certain areas lest he be arrested for his crimes. Henry Kissinger has that problem. Remember how all those old Nazis got rounded up?

8. Move back to Maine, make money off of human suffering
He only bought the ranch to run for president. Otherwise, I'm sure he'll keep a condo in Houston like his dad did for income tax purposes, and spend the rest of his time yachting or polo-ing or whatever it is ultra-wealthy ivy-leaque retirees do. Maybe start a "think tank" so he can earn an exuberant slary from Saudi contributors as the president of said organization.

Following that, probably eternal damnation.

28. he might be exuberant
Edited on Tue Feb-28-06 11:21 PM by ellenfl
if he earns an exorbitant salary. however, i think he will find a company he can run into the ground. then maybe he'll become a goodwill ambassador . . . to the middle east, of course. in his off time, he will count the millions he made off his presidency and stock his library . . . the first book in his library will undoubtedly be 'my pet goat'.

i only hope he disappears from public view . . . unless that view involves bars. just looking at him has always made my skin crawl. however, i think striped or even orange pjs will make him look a lot better to me.

i just don't understand how people cannot see through that veneer of sincerity. he is the most arrogant, insincere, patronizing, sanctimonious person i have ever seen . . . worse than nixon in that regard.

34. Exuberant, exorbitant. It's all the same to a man
Who doesn't own a theseusorous. :)

I'd be surprised if there aren't public burnings of My Pet Goat before it's all over, in order to "preserve the good name of Der Fuhr... I mean, 'our president.'"

By the way: if you were the one I was poking fun at the other day for not spelling, capitalizing, and punctuating properly, I apologize. It's not you; it's a long running grudge I have against e.e. cummings.

i have to capitalize all day long so i enjoy NOT having to do so when i'm 'offline' . . . especially since i am a poor typist but my job requires it. :) besides, i think it makes my posts look like i'm whispering since i use all caps for shouting.

11. I still think he'll be martyred sometime around 2Q 2008.
If we see a replacement for Cheney before then, that'll only add to my belief. I just can't see how the GOPhers and Neoconsters can allow this mental case to run around as an ex-pResident. He'd be a loose cannon. He's far, far more useful as a martyr.

30. He'll collect a pile of money delivering speeches written
by repuke hacks in front of whatever wingnut groups will have him. He'll use daddy's connections to get onto some corporate boards where he'll be paid handsomely for doing nothing. He'll fleece wealthy contributors to come up with the money for his pitiful "library," which will consist of "My Pet Goat" and a couple of other children's books Pickles once read to the twins.

Otherwise he'll get drunk and pass out - frequently - behind closed doors.

In short, his life won't change much.

35. He will sink into the septic tank of history
Discredited, a national embarassment, his few friends will desert him. While he'll never be poor -- with all that oil money? -- he will be shunned. The twins will disavoy him, even as they slip into alcoholic obscurity, surfacing once on a reality show for two seasons before becoming an answer to a trivia question. Pickles will divorce him by the end of the teens, becoming a librarian again, and marrying a real Texas rancher. George W. Bush will be found dead, in his mansion, in the summer of 2023, drowned in his own vomit, surrounded by liquor bottles, his nose covered in powder cocaine.
