New years resolutions from Dissident

My New Years Resolutions for 2006

I resolve to:

1) Start this list earlier next year. Dreadfully late and lazy of me I apologize.

2) Follow the teachings of Jesus that tell me to love my fellow man and to turn the other cheek to those that persecute me. Not the lessons I must have missed that state we are to war with sovereign nations and kill innocents in the name of self righteous ideals.

3) Always keep enough food and water stored in the event of a natural disaster to last at least a month because to rely on help from our leaders is folly

4) To continue to write in tones both caustic and contemplative for those willing to read

5) To continue to be cynical and critical of our government that consistently proves itself to be a machine powered by corruption.

6) To continue my search for the perfect Rueben sandwich

7) To always appreciate life art and humanity in all its many splendiferous forms

8) To never fail to speak out about injustice and hatred be it racial, religious or political

9) To boldly go where no one has gone before, though I do not know the way. and....

10) To at least once a week thrust my middle finger in the air and wish a hearty F*CK YOU to our government that spies on us. Something my grandmother once told me only went on in the U.S.S.R. And I believed her.

Gonna be a bumpy one kids so batten down the hatches. You heard it here first. Ignore me at your peril
