Man tried to plant bombs and have Muslims blamed for them
A South Valley man accused of planting a pipe bomb near a local church and school is headed to prison.

A Tulare County judge sentenced Robert Allen Jackson on Tuesday to 10 years in prison.
Jackson was arrested in May of 2005 after police found a pipe bomb at Saint Alloysius Church in Tulare.

Jackson later confessed that he planted the bomb to shed "bad light on Muslims."

5. Oh, and, by the way, was this man charged under new terrorist laws?
After all, his activity CLEARLY falls within the feds definition of a terrorist act.
