msnbc: "Bush's popularity falling"
Huh? In order to be "popular", you have to be at least above the low 50% range. The headline should be a bit more critical.

1. Bush** is in Afghanistan to catch bin Laden??
Single-handed like, or is he gonna mis-speak him into a corner and then let Pickles browbeat him to death?

2. Bush has no popularity.
I honestly believe he is disliked by more people worldwide than anyone else ever has been.

Some legacy - turning yourself into the most universally hated individual person in the history of the human race. Way to go, George!

4. Falling? I think not!
More like crashing, plummeting, plunging, prolapsing, tailspinning, toppling, or tumbling. But not merely falling.

8. He's been highly unpopular for some time now.
They're still doing their best to spin and frame it. Whatever. The truth is that even the most republicy republican I know was talking against progressives, but had to add, "But, I don't like Bush." That's when I knew things were changing. :)

12. Don't you understand? They have Diebold and ES&S, two rightwing
Edited on Wed Mar-01-06 10:30 AM by Peace Patriot
Bushites corporations, counting all our votes with "TRADE SECRET," PROPRIETARY programming code, and virtually no audit/recount controls--and have corrupted election officials throughout the country on a bipartisan basis with the $4 billion HAVA boondoggle, lavish lobbying and "revolving door" employment, arranged by Tom Delay and Bob Ney. They have nearly destroyed our election system--with the complicity of some Democrats, and the insane silence of the Democratic Party leadership.

Bush's unpopularity therefore means nothing. The Bush junta is no longer beholden to the people of this country--except in the case where we can, say, double voter turnout and overwhelm the electronic fraud. It's possible--and getting rid of these machines is also possible. But the black hole that the war profiteering corporate news monopolies have shoved this matter into--and the silence of our Party leaders--make this a difficult, state by state, county by county, struggle by grass roots groups and ordinary citizens.

Bob Koehler (-- four recent election reform initiatives in Ohio, predicted to win by 60/40 votes, flipped over, on election day, into 60/40 LOSSES!--the biggest flipover we've seen yet; the election theft machines and their masters are now dictating election policy!)
