1, 632 DAYS since 9/11 - BIN LADEN still FREE - Bush's 4+ YEAR old pledge
Bush in Sept. 2001:

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."

"I want justice and there's an old poster out West I recall, that said, 'Wanted, Dead or Alive.'"

Bush in March 2002: " So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him."

"I am truly not that concerned about him."

April 2002 Washington Post Story: http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A62618-2002Apr16?language=printer

"The Bush administration has concluded that Osama bin Laden was present during the battle for Tora Bora late last year and that failure to commit U.S. ground troops to hunt him was its gravest error in the war against al Qaeda, according to civilian and military officials with first-hand knowledge."

FOUR YEARS LATER....

Bush in March 2006

"Bin Laden will be brought to justice."

IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!

1. Is the media playing ANY of these 4 year old pledges today?!?
It's laughable to play his quote today without these 4 year old pledges.

Just imagine if FDR did the same thing in WWII...we'd still be pledging to get Japan for Pearl Harbor...

2. I think we, as a community, have become so bitter at
the administration's use of 9/11 that we've forgotten that there STILL is no justice for those 3,000 killed.

Bin Laden SHOULD have been caught..SHOULD have been put on trial.

Accountability is the issue. The Bush* cabal has never been held accountable for this monumental failure.

Maybe it's time he is held accountable - especially when making the comments he made today, 4.5 years after pledging not to rest until Bin Laden is brought to justice.

4. I honestly believe that OBL will never be brought to justice.. I think in
large part it's due to all the business * and his family does with the Bin Laden family.. I just don't think it will ever happen.. I hope I'm wrong..
