Question about PoliticalCompass.org
I'm not a very politically astute person, despite my insatiable appetite for politics, so after running across this website I wondered what value, if any, DU members think it has.

1. Their test is worth taking
I believe the site is run out of the UK by some Poli Sci and/or Sociology academics.
They've done their homework on the content; the scoring looks carefully thought through.
They could be using the site as research into various national political/economic attitudes.
On "dailykos", you'll note many posters have their X/Y scores with their signature.
Definitely take the test, get your score, and see where you fall in the grid. The value
is entertaining at the least. Also surprising to me is where they place (by inference from
the record and writings, probably) historic and current leading figures. Most progressive
posters score in the lower left quadrant; the developers place a majority of noted leaders,
past and present, in the upper right!
