Hannity is on our side in the Dubai debacle.
Driving home I was surprised to hear Handjob ranting about the ports deal. It kinda scared me to think hes on our side , in anything.

The Dubai deal is dead when both sides are against it.

2. But for the wrong reason
hannity, typical "christian conservative" hates non white, non christian people and does not want them to profit from any thing Merkun! He could not possibly give a flying dog fuck about our port security because he does not understand the issue. And he shares his ignorance daily. I don't listen to him now, but when I was stationed in Atlanta he had a radio show and was followed by a former marine who referred to him as hanny-pie.

9. his spiel
was the bush doctrine stating that it said youre either with us or against us. He wove a decent story aboutDubai having a shady past , saying they supported Hamas and such,as lately as 2004.

I cant stand Handjob and it was the only FM talk station in this area I could pick up . That station is nothing but right wing whackjobs. I dont see how they get away with that. It comes out of the Youngstown Ohio area which is strongly Democratic.

If anything, he's seeing some inclincation of "the worm turned" and is pre-empting a huge sucking sound of his audience leaving to visit the truth...for once.

8. Hannity is NEVER on "our side", make no mistake
He's providing mass-media cover for republicans who are turning against bushco on this one. That's ALL it amounts to, and it may even be a coordinated strategy to distance republican candidates further from the unpopular bush during an election year.

Now is not the time to start trusting the media whores. If they're saying something you agree with, start questioning the underlying causes, figure out who stands to profit or lose from it, and try like hell to find the angle.

12. A theory
I think they may be ready to distance themselves from bush and his many failures, maybe even go so far as to impeach him. They know if they go into elections with that ball and chain , they could lose it all.

I have a strong feeling the distancing has begun.

Dont allow it to happen. They are one.

13. Maddness! Demagogic alliance with Dems to save NeoCon Agenda
Edited on Wed Mar-01-06 04:47 PM by NoMercy
gets the republican congress off the hook. Why? To get Bush?

Why are we democrats playing stupid and acting against our own interest.

The rhetoric on the Dubai Ports is 90% flag-waving, Xenophobic garbage and political rabble rousing. It is a sad spectacle to see the LA times remind our Senator that banning foreign terminal ownership would immediately terminate the California economy:

“Memo to Boxer: 13 of the 14 container terminals at the ports of L.A. and Long Beach, the biggest port complex in the U.S., are run by foreign-owned companies.”

http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/editorials/la-ed-ports26feb26,0,6772402.story?coll=la-news-comment-editorials

We are now oblivious to the fact that the NeoCon tactics being used against the UAE now have the same stench as the propaganda against Chavez’s Venezuela.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x523400

What is most perplexing is that the Arab Ports Deal Saves Democrats, Impeaches Bush, could sink the Republican congress, BUT the NeoCons re going to con democrats into killing it and saving their butts.

if his BushBots stop listening to him praise a president who is doing so badly. It's all about Sean's limos and $$$ speaking fees and private planes paid for by organizations who want him to speak.

18. The Only Side Hannity is on is Hannity's side
Maybe he knows that the tsunami of voter outrage that is washing Democrats into office this year is coming.

Maybe he knows that shortly after that tsunami, he's going to be sharing a cage in GITMO with Rush and the other "propagandist".

Maybe he knows that Fux News ratings are twirling around the toilet like a turd slowly sinking into the septic tank of history.

Maybe he knows that his brand of conservatism is going the way of other fads in this country, like the "Hula-hoop" and the "Pet Rock".

or maybe,

He's just an ass-pickle!
