Anyone got the debunking points on the Enron email that's going
around? I've gotten it twice now from different Repug people and thought I'd ask before I do alot of research on it.

This is an interesting bit of information that we don't hear much
about.

A. Enron's chairman did meet with the president and the vice
president in the Oval Office.

B. Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three years.

C. It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.

D. The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times.

E. The corporation had access to the administration at its highest
level and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease
deals for it.

F. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for
more than $600 million in just one transaction. Scandalous!!

G..BUT...the president under whom all this happened WASN'T George W.
Bush.

SURPRISE ......... It was Bill Clinton!

3. Here's what gets me about this stuff.
Everytime Bush fucks up, The Repugs are standing on the sidelines with a "But Clinton did it too!" bullshit line. Now, if Clinton disgusts them so much, why do they support a guy that apparently is the mirror image of Bill?

4. Can't read this post without commenting that it was Enron airplanes
that carried all of the Delay and other repug staffers to and from Florida to disrupt the 2000 recount.

5. Yep. It started making the rounds again last week. Debunked years ago.
Pathetic Rs can't come up with anything better than recycled BS.
