Attention Marc Maron fans... call to action..

ok kids, trust me on this one..

Go to www.airamericaradio.com and hit the 'Contact Us' page.

Tell AAR that you want the LIVE MARC MARON show on the XM FEED instead of an edited repeat of a previous day's show.

Right now the XM feed is 20 live hours, then 2 hrs of AL repeat and 2 hrs of RANDI repeat till Mark Riley/Rachel..

TELL THEM YOU WANT TWO MORE LIVE HOURS SINCE MARC ISN'T ON EVERYWHERE.

Nothing happens unless PEOPLE TELL THEM WHAT THEY WANT. (wink. wink.)

6. No, XM determines what to broadcast on that stream.

For example: Colmes

AAR is just the content producer.

8. No.. not since AAR got the ENTIRE CHANNEL...

Colmes was an abberation before AAR came alive...
AAR sends the FEED to XM, if they want to send Marc Maron, then they send Marc Maron..

RIGHT NOW the XM feed is identical to the AAR net stream (except for commercials).

If AAR want's to do it.. then it will be done.

The broadcaster always decides what programming they serve and when. The XM model is no different than local terrestrial stations in this regard (many of them slice-n-dice/pick-&-choose from the AAR program lineup).

In any case, why would you NOT email XM "just in case" I'm correct....?

got the podcast of the Maron Show this morning commercial free and it clocked in at 1 hour 14 minutes...

and it was an excellent show!

I'm not an XM subscriber so they wouldn't listen to me but they got those extra hours to re-broadcast that lame-assed Franken Show? bah!

and the weekday XM schedule is pretty lame in the days anyway-

Weekday Schedule:
5AM-9AM ET Air America Mornings Mark Riley & Rachel Maddow
9AM-Noon ET The Jerry Springer Show Jerry Springer
Noon - 3PM ET The Al Franken Show Al Franken
3PM-7PM ET The Randi Rhodes Show Randi Rhodes
7PM-10PM ET The Majority Report Janeane Garofalo, Sam Seder
10PM-1AM ET Mike Malloy Mike Malloy

Shit they could move the Marc Maron Show to right after Mark/Rachel, keep Franken and have a great line up!

.. if you HAVE XM, you just WANT the show on the XM Feed.

Whatever it takes to get Marc 'nationwide' coverage (without being attached to the net)
