Are you excited about our new health plan, Medical Saving Accounts?
Edited on Wed Mar-01-06 10:41 PM by IsItJustMe
All we get are false choices.

This is the same dead end dream as school choice.

How many people can put $10,000 into an IRA and then turn around and buy into a low cost health insurance program that offers no real coverage anyway?

Why do people buy into this bull shit?

1. I'm excited to know that
If my cancer returns, the piddly ass amount I will be able to save will not even cover the tests, let alone the treatment.

Thank you Chimpy!

2. The people who buy into this are the ones who created it
and stand to profit from it. No one else does.

4. This is just another way
to say that Bushco can't think up any realistic alternatives.

5. Healthcare in the U.S.
Republinazis want to turn us into a third-world nation where only the über-rich have access to healthcare. This is one of their attempts to cull the population.

7. hell, no! What savings?
How are the poor expected to "save"? They (we) don't have enough income to do more than just (maybe) meet needs. And those, such as Hubby, who were denied any insurance coverage, what good does a couple of bucks do to defraying thousands in medical needed expenses. There were two choices for us: watch Hubby die of renal failure and diabetic coma, or 2. spend down all our liquid assets, cut back my work income and apply for Medicaid (actually a CA program called CMSP) so he could get medical treatments and medicine.

Medical savings accounts...I got to laugh...:sarcasm:
