Who is in the room with * on the Katrina briefing video?
My mom swears up and down that she heard on the "ever so reliable" (my words, not hers) 24 hours news channels that it is Chertoff. I say that, hard though it may be to see, it really doesn't look like good old Skeletor Chertoff. And I think I've seen that it was someone else but I can't remember where and or the name. So if you can tell me, I owe ya one. And, incidentally, if you happen to know a link to an article stating who it is that would super helpful as my mom usually refuses to believe anything unless she sees it on the newsfest on tv or knows the source precisely.

THANKS SO MUCH

1. It would make sense if it were Chertoff...
I couldn't see Brownie giving a presentation to * without Chertoff being there....

And if it is him another lie from him....

6. Ah, that makes more sense!
I couldn't figure out why the NOLA mayor was at Bush's ranch in the wake of an impending CAT5 storm! *smacks head*

Thanks!

George W. Bush is handed a map by Deputy Chief of Staff Joe Hagin, center, during a video teleconference with federal and state emergency management organizations on Hurricane Katrina from his Crawford, Texas ranch on Sunday August 28, 2005. White House photo by Paul Morse

Is this the one you're refering to?

p.s. - if this is it - Would your mom consider the WH a 'reliable source'?

12. Thanks and...
that is the picture that made me think about what she said she heard. But the actual thing I was refering to was the video-conferencing tape that the AP released yesterday. That tape seems to clearly be the same day as this photo, so I'm going with this. And that is what the guy on the video conference tape looked like. It's so hard to see!

And the WH may not be reliable on some issues, but I'm sure they're reliable on knowing their own people!!

10. LOL! You know hardly a day goes by without someone making....
a reference to The Godfather. That movie was made about 34 years ago and is quoted almost dailey.

Yesterdays reference I read referred to Bush as being like..... Fredo.
