Man accused of using Internet to make sexual contact with a minor

RAPID CITY, S.D. - A March 13 arraignment is set for a man accused of using the Internet to make sexual contact with a minor.

Police arrested Jeff Lee Wiesinger, 27, of Shadehill, Feb. 24 outside the Dairy Queen in Sturgis. Investigators said Wiesinger thought he was coming there to meet a 13-year-old girl he'd been communicating with online.

Wiesinger made his first court appearance Tuesday on felony charges of soliciting sex from a minor and attempted sexual contact with a minor.

He remains in jail on $13,000 cash bond.
