You know...watching Lou Dobbs I'm struck that DU'ers have been OnTop

of ALL the Info he is "suddenly revealing" for years...and that he can push a button and his "Army of Females" suddenly are pulling FACTS LEFT AND RIGHT out of "rabbit hats" makes me BARF!!!:puke:

OUR MEDIA has KNOWN FOR YEARS the stuff we all spend hours on Google or Lexis/Nexus trying to catalog. THEY KNEW BUT REFUSED TO REPORT ON IT!

How do we Dems move on knowing that the "Libertarians/Dobbs" are NOW in Control of all the issues that are the Most Important to us?

Like why should she complain about the UAE deal when it was a neo-con that broke the story?
And how can we now trust Lou Dobbs now that he's bitching about bush after CNN was so silent all this time?

The bottom line is, we can't trust anybody, even if it is a popular democratic president that appears to be the next coming of FDR.

But we must keep in mind that the majority of Americans are not obsessed with politics as we are, and they're the ones that see things in black and white. Either Bush is good or Bush is bad.

And no matter what anybody's agenda is right now, it is making a lot of Americans go from "good Bush" to "bad Bush." And that, I believe, is the reason why CNN is suddenly growing some balls. I'm sure a year ago, they were worried about their ratings and being called anti-American.

I'm (sadly) as much a part of the "Tweety is Up ...Tweety is Down.."...OH OLBERMANNN is DA MAN...tune in ..he REALLY, REALLY GETS IT...and the "Check out Lou Dobbs...TONIGHT HE'S REALLY ON....fantasy.

I watch it when it's good and tune it out when it's bad. I've joined the BOYCOTT MATTHEWS/RUSSERT/KURTZ and the numbers "tunings out" that we Dems have been trying to do.

But...I give in and peek on the few nights they are GOOD for DEMS...and so I guess it means I'm a "cave in."

Still...as GREAT AS DOBBS HAS BEEN...AND HE HAS BEEN GREAT...I still know that he's run by Frank Gaffney and it's just the way the PNAC/THINK TANK DEFECTORS have of RUNNING and CONTROLLING our Dialog here in America.

The fact remains: that Our Dems are still to weak to come out of their "cocoon" and that's very disturbing over the long haul. Lou is divulging what we here on DU could find with simple "Google Searches" and we all are bowed over that his show "concentrates on it."

But..."Beware Strangers Bearing Gifts." We Dems need to get our OWN HOUS IN ORDER and not rely SOLELY on DOBBS for our message getting out.

Not necessarily because he is telling us something we can't find out for ourselves, but because he is telling Joe Six-Pack something he never knew and never would bother trying to find out for himself.

That I'm more concerned to see that the information gets out SOME HOW...than I am concerned about WHO gets it out there...
