NBC Nightly News: BROWN CONTRADICTS HIMSELF; Bush WAS Engaged!!
Ooooo! Make me SICK! On NBC Nightly News, Ms. Bush Worshipper Campbell Brown was ONCE AGAIN painting former FEMA Director Michael Brown as the scapegoat. "But can't you see how some people may view this as just sour grapes on your part?" she asked him, after a long discussion on how Michael Brown criticized Bush's response and yet at the same time said Bush was indeed engaged.

Furthermore, they claimed that Blanco agreed that the levies had NOT been breached, and that Max Mayfield didn't warn about the levies being BREACHED, but rather TOPPED!!

Is it just me, or was Rove's phone burning up with blackmail calls to the media, warning them if they don't comply with HIS falsified version of events?

PROPAGANDA in the USA? Course not, our country is INNOCENT!!
:sarcasm:

1. That's the White House spin, per W#ashington Post article this morning
It begs the question, if Bush was so thoroughly engaged, why in hell was he taking a fundraising mini-vacation in the resorts of Arizona and California? One wonders...:eyes:

3. And eating cake with a certain
John McCain...

OOoo, boy it burns me up that these people can get away with this. And I STILL believe they've suppressed the true body count, which conveniently has not been addressed lately.

Water was flooding the damn city....

But that is the BushCo way. Pick at a detail, and then try to make the issue that little detail.

People are not buying that shit anymore.

4. Campbell was very upset while reporting this story last night.
She was close to tears. So it's no surprise that she seemed biased tonight.

5. NBC is owned by GE. How was the coverage on CBS and ABC?

9. CBS News
with Bob Sheiffer is typically pretty good. Bob is not one to hold back. I didn't get to hear Bob's presentation of this subject since I was watching crappy NBC, but Bob DID report on something else underreported today - that a 2nd Dubai firm plans to take over some U.S. plants that manufacture military equipment and weapons.

Yep, probably a GE thing.

10. CBS and ABC are by no means perfect, but they do give...
the other side air time. Also, they do give more critical reporting about *.
NBC is GE, enough said.

7. He said that today? He said Bush was engaged or was she just
quoting an OLD quote? I'm confused...as usual.:)

I know, at first, before he was "let go", he was defending the idiot, but changed his tune when he saw he was going to be there scapegoat.

The new videos they aired showed Bush in his conference room just before Katrina struck saying that he'll certainly provide help to the state and local levels, so Bush did say this. He just ignored a clear crisis for several days until he could parse together a nice photo op with him alongside lines of military vehicles conveniently rolling into affected areas.

Anyhow, Brown agreed that Bush was engaged just before the Hurricane struck as the video showed. On NBC News, Campell Brown was just trying to make him look like a doofus by implying Brown was saying Bush was engaged AFTER the hurricane struck, which Brown obviously was not saying.
