OH! Why oh why!!......
Didn't all these truths regarding Mr.Bush and his
idiotic policies come out before the election of 04.
Kerry would have pulverized him!!! Ironically we as
Duers knew who these right wing wackos were back then
and to this date. It's the public that took sooooo long
to figure these guys out.

1. A Lot Of Them Did, But Many Just Refused To Listen To Truth.
They chose the addictive diet of trash talk and soap opera lies instead.

6. but the M$M did it's best to dress him up
most people don't vote cause they are too busy and convinced it's all a scam.

the more we learn, the more we understand the logic in that choice.

a smart and lucky politician would exploit that fact.

peace

2. Well it didn't help that the press sat on stories.
About spying, Plame and a host of other things. Then there is the Diebold and disenfranchisement issues.

There was tons of info available. It just wasn't necessarily on FAUX, where the ones who needed to hear it were.

4. I think Kerry had more than enough ammo to pulverize Bush
for some reason he chose not to use it, just wouldn't take the gloves off and fight.

8. that leaves us with several choices:
either,
(i) Kerry was extremely badly served by his election staff or he refused to take good advice, or he was simply an incompetent candidate. I suspect a combo of all three.

(ii) Kerry never intended to win, but ran under orders of the Yale powerbrokers that made him rich and powerful as a senator. I really do NOT want to believe this one.

(iii) Kerry thought that getting into the mud with all the full signs of disarray, crimes, fraud, and worse that was, is and will be rampant in the Bush Admin was already obvious to America, so it would be unseemly for him to raise it again.

12. And that's why I won't support Kerry in the primary
although if he wins the nomination I'll probably vote for him.

5. bush made a fool of himself in three national debates
Kerry left him for roadkill, yet I know several educated people who watched all three debates and STILL VOTED FOR BUSH. This is the kind of disconnect with reality we see in America and it is very, very frightening. I don't know if people are truly "waking up" (I'm not convinced that two or three Karl Rove Dirty Tricks would not convince them to still vote against their self-interests) but even if they are I fear it is way, WAY to late - we are on the huge down slide now.

11. And voter registration fraud and under-equipping Dem precincts...
...and disenfranchising minority voters and specious voter challenges and lying about where to vote and closing precincts early and...what have I left out?

10. It took Katrina for people to see how
incompetent and dishonest this krew is.

People want to believe in their leaders, especially if they voted for them. Take that, 9-11, and being "at war", many people weren't willing to criticize until they had Katrina in their living rooms for 2 weeks. Part of this is because the media hasn't covered a lot, like Iraq. If Iraq had been in our living rooms the past 2 years, stories about injured soldiers, the suicides, real coverage of the casualties, and such, Iraq would have been less popular sooner.

13. Not remotely true
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 10:45 PM by sandnsea
We had not had Katrina or the ports deal or the Libby arrest or the Cheney shooting in the face or social security privatization or the reality of the Medicare Drug fiasco. Alot has happened in just one year that has completely changed the country's perception of Bush. And believe me, if this were a Presidential election year, they'd just ramp up their smear machine and a whole bunch of Republicans would fall right back in line because that's just what they do, vote against the pansy liberal label.
