Catch a meme

I'm a huge fan of the TV show "Firefly," which FOX, in all its debatable wisdom, did its level best to derail. Fans call themselves "Browncoats," after the losing side of a war against a repressive government in the distant future.

If you've never seen the series, or the movie that came after, entitled "Serenity," you're missing one of the greatest things ever to make its way onto television. Firefly was the brainchild of Buffy creator Joss Whedon and it's as anti-establishment as anything that's ever been broadcasted.

My recent post made use of a phrase from Serenity, where the Captain comments, "I aim to misbehave."

I think it's worth reading. It'll go on my blog as soon as I track down my password again. LOL

See if you can get a hold of the series first. The movie stands alone, but there's a lot of stuff in the series you wouldn't want to miss.

My wife won the whole season of Firefly on DVD along with a copy of Serenity. I missed it when it was on TV and became an INSTANT fan when I watched them.
