Rush gets his ass kicked (Great Video!)
I actually saw this when it aired- one of the most bizarre, ever.

Even tho it is tough to watch this clown, the crowd tears him up.

Definitely worth watching to see how they eventually resorted to handle PigBoy's "problem".

Shapes of things to come.

2. This is actually a big turning point in his career
IIRC, Roger Ailes, the mastermind behind Limbaugh's short-lived TV show, made certain to carefully screen the studio audience. Wouldn't surprise me if this tactic inspired Bushco's town meeting organizers.

3. I was thinking that same thing about Shrub's audiences.
This is WHY they screen the people who are allowed into Shrub's speaches, of this is the same thing you'd see at them all the time!

16. Oh brother
Rush tried to make himself the victim and whenever he couldn't control the audience he would take a commercial break and than he would change subjects. And people would hollar out again and he'd try to play the victim again. If he's going to have an audience he's going to know he's going to have people who don't like him and/or disagree. :eyes: Than he blamed CBS for how the crowd reacted towards him by voicing out. :eyes: Never any blame on himself of course. Of course at the end when he did his little talk everyone was gone so nobody could call him on his "poor me I'm a victim" bullshit.

5. "Nobody is censoring anyone"
"Well, as you can see, we've had to clear the studio audience out of here, and now that they're gone, I'm gonna bloviate on and on, and have the nerve to say that nobody was evicted."

What a load! No wonder he's exclusively on radio. Wuss.

18. "1990, a year or two before he became super-famous,
Rush Limbaugh guest-hosted Pat Sajak's short-lived talk show. It didn't go so well: The taping was disrupted by a group of angry activists who were seated throughout the audience.

A visibly rattled Limbaugh was unable to regain control of the show. "He came out full of bluster and left a very shaken man," a CBS executive later said. "I had never seen a man sweat as much in my life...read on" http://www.panopticist.com/archives/187.html

9. Wow..I wish we would see this kind of reaction on live t.v. now
The only real emotions towards public opinion we have seen as of late is when we saw people suffering and dieing on live T.V in N.O.
