Boycotts, Bribery, AAR and Extortion. I have a legal question.
Given the recent cancellations of 2 Air America stations, would it be legal for me to start a letter writing campaign asking advertisers why they don't advertise on my local AAR station? I live in Cincy, and I don't believe I've heard a "Gold Star Chili" or "Skyline Chili" ad. Both of these companies advertise extensively on other radio stations.

How can I legally drive advertisers to my local Air America station? I don't want to lose Al Franken, Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy.

Don't tell me to stream it, 'cause I want to make AAR some money.

3. Maybe I could call advertisers and ask them why they advertise on some
stations and not my local AAR?

2. I'm not sure why that would be illegal
And if you want to make AA some money, go on their website and buy a T-shirt or a sweater or something.

The 2nd anniversary of AA is less than a month away, and I plan to use it to gloat. The conservative pissants said it would not last six months. Again, they said it would not last six months. They were wrong.

4. Talk to your small and independent business
owners to start with and then go from there. Our station was bought by another group -- whose name escapes me at the moment. Phoenix had the listeners and the advertisers - many of which owned their own business.
