What's your favorite name for *?

I have never used his name once while posting on DU. Why should I when there is such a wealth of funny, insulting alternatives to chose from? (Referring to him by his real name is a warning that the poster might be a troll, IMHO)

Choose your favorite, or suggest a new one. It's easy! It's fun!

Though I'm not as creative as you about it, and will usually just say "Dubya" or "the Chimp" (with apologies to the chimpanzee population of the world).

There's something about using a person's real name that acknowledges them as a being worthy of recognition, even in the most remote way. Using a nickname, derrogatory or otherwise, forces your interpretation upon them, and automatically puts the other person one-down. Maybe that explains Dubya's incessant use of stupid nicknames for the people around him?!

He is not a being worthy of recognition, so no real name for him! I have to say that I am not at all creative with my nicknames, and almost always use *. The ones I have used I have stolen from other DUers.:)

I like to walk my talk. Since I say that bullying, name-calling, etc. are aspects of incivility, and I want to be civil, I'll just use the name. It's neutral. On the days I can't bring myself to type "Bush," I'll go with *. It represents the man who sits in the white house, regardless of what you call him.

I'll say that I don't respect what this man has accomplished in office. I'll say that I think he is a national humiliation. I'll say that the people who put him in office make me angry. All true. I won't stoop to what I see as the lowest common denominator in human social skills to express it, or at least I'll make every effort to rise above that urge.

I'll also won't hesitate to respond, forcefully, to any insinuation that I'm a troll because I prefer civility.
