$6000? You gotta be freaking kidding me

ChimpCo donated the $6000 they got from Abramoff to charity? What a bunch of bullshit. $6000 is a drop in the freaking bucket. Does anyone believe that a "class act" like Abramoff would insult the chimp by offering only $6000?

Admitting the $6000 ties the chimp to Abramoff. Now, nobody can say that the chimp is hiding anything, after all, he admitted the connection. But the amount in question is so small that it shouldn't make waves.

Bullshit I say.

That $100,000 was money Abramoff raised from others as a pioneer, so not a direct contribution.

CBS Evening News did a pretty good job of covering it last night. They were very specific that asshole was keeping 100K.
