Faux Noose Spin of the Day
"Did President Bush get it right when he said 'Brownie, you're doin a heckuva job'?"

I put this in the Faux Hall of Shame. If my head wasn't spinning so much I would be laughing my ass off.

1. Right thru the Looking Glass...
I, too, am having equilibrium issues after reading that.

3. Brownie
Now, if Bush had only said, "The rest of us can't find our butts with both hands and a flashlight," he'd have been onto something.

5. Were they for real?
If so, that's downright laughable, even more so because SNL opened the show last night spoofing the same thing. Rarely would I doubt how low Fox can go, but maybe that was a lead-in, or had some part in the story?

If not, I guess they figured the line from SNL was so good they could easily run it by their delusional viewers :(

7. I find this pathetically funny.
The Bush impersonator on Saturday Night Live used this exact spin just last night !

9. You know why it looked like he was doing well?
Edited on Sun Mar-05-06 06:34 PM by gatorboy
Cause he was being FILMED!! He knew he was on camera. As did Bush when he seemed so concerned at the time. But when the cameras were turned off, they both went back to not giving a shit.
Brownies emails during the situation are proof of that.
