fahrenheit 9/11 is on. i tend to watch it everytime it is on. what i would like to know is -- was it ever nominated for anything -- best documentary, etc. here is a movie that tells the truth and shows what's really going on. i think it should receive some kind of award.

1. No. Michael Moore took it out of contention at the Oscars the year
it was released. He wanted someone else to have a better chance at Best Documentary.

4. I thought he took it out of contention so it could be shown on television
where it could make a difference. I believe that once a film is shown on television before the Academy Awards it can no longer be qualified.

2. Michael Moore won the Plame d' Or from the Cannes film
(I hope I have that right)festival and an Oscar after that and he was heckled at the Oscars because of it.

7. Yes, but he was there, and the rude right destroyed a rather
good moment for him. It's too bad that you have a better memory than me couldn't have said this before an old woman like me had to.

5. Freudian Slip of the Day!
Michael Moore won the Plame d' Or

Actually, it's the Palme d'Or. However, you win an all-expenses-paid fact-finding trip to Niger. ;-)

6. Thank you for correcting me because I wasn't really
interested in being grammatically correct. I really needed to say since others, like you, who could have said it better didn't.
