Detroit Air America affiliate increases audience by 40%

Local talk radio station WDTW 1310am has increased it's share from 0.5 to 0.7, a 40% increase from the last quarter.

Still small by comparison with the other stations and GOP loud speaker WJR at 5.3share, a slip from 5.4. So alot of room to grow. Let's keep growing our audience, if we can nab a 2-3 share by the fall it'll definately help the local congressional candidates beat Knollenburg, Rodgers and McCotter. It'll give local democratic citizens talking points to spread the Democratic messages and the Bush administrations mind boggling failures that are regularly glossed over by the media.

Detroit residents who go to church every Sunday also vote democratic. It's one place in the country where the standard statistics don't fit, for better or for worse.

Detroit is a good radio market for AA. Between the city and the large numbers of liberals in the suburbs, there are plenty of potential listeners.

and why was Mahr speechless when Hurley itemized why Bush is NO christian. Bush can't even quote his #1 philosopher!!! If I was Bush, I definately WOULD NOT BELIEVE IN GOD, because he's gonna get a scathing rude awakening at the pearly gates!!!! The only thing Bush is deep about is the conviction of his own greatness in his own mind. You'd think that for someone that God communicates to on a regular basis, his policies would start paying huge dividends by now. Instead we have people dying by thousands whether it be by war or natural diaster. And where a natural diaster is a person's and a government's oppurtunity to show it's compassion and greatness, this president both lies and ignores the plight of people injured. Christian?
