I was on Washington Journal :)

Sunday morming. The topic was about leaks, journalism and bush wanting to penalize journalists for reporting leaks.

Braindead bushbots were calling in, slobbering all over chimpies knob. I knew I has to do something, so I called in and said my peace...

I said I *wanted* to know about torture, that I'm glad that the media clued me in. I said that syping wasn't the story, that the story was the way the spying was done. I said that there seems to be a double-standard when it comes to leaks, mentioning Plame as an example, lastly I said that when the most secretive administration in recent memory wants to become even more secretive by handcuffing the press I become very concerned.

It was great expressing myself on national TV, and knowing at the same time that my comments were enraging braindead lockstep bushbots.

The caller after me made wonderful comments. That because the House no longer excersizes it's oversight of the Executive function, that the checks and balances come only from the media. Great comments, I totally agree with them. Without the media, things would be much, much worse. And yes, I know, the MSM have been little more than stenographers when it comes to the chimp, but I believe the tide is turning.

We just have to keep speaking the truth........the truth is the slayer of all evil.....

but, it's going to piss them off first.

Only the most fanatical, lockstep bushbot is feeling good about the way things are going. If I was a repug, I weould be suffering the heartache of buyer's remorse right now. That, and I would be feeling like qa chump who got suckered. If the elections are fair, we're gonna beat them bad.

I know, it's a pretty big if...

I was so busy getting my wife and grand daughter ready for church that I missed large pieces of the c-spin fraggle. Sounds like ya' did good. The butterfly effect--every bit helps and nothing is insignificant, but I must admit that I do feel a bit more comfortable because of powerful people, such as you and others like you, who are empowered to carry on the battle between good and ill.

I didn't know the shows were archived. Thanks, I want to check myself out. I was really nervous, the thought of being on national TV was a bit intimidating.

The experience was a bit scary, but I'm thankful that a forum is provided where I can express my opinions to such a large audience. Thanks for your comments.

One thing I did notice, bushbot call volume is way down. Usually, the dem and repug calls are balanced. Not Sunday. The bushbots seem to be in hiding, there were very few calls in support of junior. It looked like the calls went 3-1 in favor of chimp detractors. There was also a great call, a repug who felt completely abandoned by her party, she was ready to hang up her rethug affiliation.

Maybe that's what will happen during the mid term elections. Repukes disgusted with their party, but lacing the spine to vote outside their party, will stay home. I can only imagine Democratic, Liberal and moderate turnout will be very high.

I'm starting to get a good feeling about this.

I went to C-Span's archive page & found your call. On the queue bar, go to 2:16:35; also at (approx.) 30:40 where the time (in the green area) is located.

I couldn't tell that you were nervous; you did an exceptional job.

There were more callers with common sense than those who were calling in to support the tyrannical idea to prosecute journalists for leaking "classified" information. So many good calls: One Republican commented that there should be a way to distinguish what is actually classified-worthy & what is not. One woman said that, while the journalists get the information second-hand, the "first-hand person" is getting away with it.
