13. Yeppers...I'd Love 49%...And restock on the popcorn
I don't want to see Weaseldick go down tonight. It's too soon...he's now quite done roasting on the spit. I want to see him win tonight, but with only 49%...enough to force a run-off and create yet another financial drain on his dwindling fortunes. Imagine what a tough sell it's gotta be to get a campaign contribution from "friends". LOL. Methinks he's all but self-financing from one of his many slush-funds...but at least it's money that is being thrown away now and not being saved for his Idi Amin style retirement in Switzerland I suspect he'll end up taking rather than face extradition for yet another round of trials.
Nothing would be more delicious than to see Nick Lampson get his chance to gain a bit of revenge by beating Weaseldick in November...and to keep his ugly mug around the entire election season as the poster boy for Repugnican corruption.
9. i don't, i hope he goes down in flames today. I've been waiting
since I lived in Texas and then moved away for Delay to lose and eventually be jailed. Today i hope he gets publicly slapped by the voters in his district.
I'd like to see him get an immediate bitch-slapping, but taking back the House in November is much more important and will have a longer lasting satisfaction result.
I want the bastard to go down today! I want him to know when he goes to bed tonight that his career in politics is over. He has hurt so many with his corrupt actions, I want him to know ASAP that it's all over for him.
22. I doubt he'll lose any sleep if he goes down today
He's greased the wheels so well, he'll land a job in the lobbying industry that will make him a millionaire many times over and continue to be a powerhouse in Washington.
It's more important he loses to a Democrat in November so it helps the Democrats take back the House and leaves DeLay completely powerless.
