Dear Sir

have you ever seen a sixteen year old die in front of you due to systemic sepsis? I have. that sixteen year old that I gave CPR to was raped by her father. Now due to the rules of the state I lived in Abortion was illegal, except in cases where it endangered the health of the mother, or rape... latter only if you could prove it. The legal mechanisms were such that PROVING IT was the hard part.

Then of course is the 23 year old that died because she was getting very sick, and really did not know if she could afford to go across the border. In fact, she could not. So she went to a back alley and ... the rest is history.

Tell me, now that you have condemned the women in your state to this, will you go the funerals? How will you look the family in the eye? Unlike most Americans who have not seen this UNTIL NOW, I have. I was a front line EMS worker in a country where abortion was illegal, except when it risked the life of the mother or abortion.

By the way, in case you wonder, that father never saw the inside of a courtroom. Never mind he RAPED his daughter. Why? Societies like that do not value women. Nor is the word of a woman of any value. In fact, women are reprised.

You may think you may want to go to a time when women staid home, and raised children... in other worlds to the 1950s... but what I just described was ongoing in the 1950s. The fact that they don't teach you that part of the history is not my fault. But Jeave Beaver is just a nice myth...

Oh and by the way, and I am sure this will chafe your hide even more... during the Clinton years, when the economy was ACTUALLY DOING GOOD, the abortion rate went down... but under our current President it is GOING UP...oh and one more piece of data.... what you guys are setting yourselves for is not Roe vs Wade, but a hot civil war... I hope you can live with the consequences.
