Coast To Coast Show becoming more political...in a GOOD way

The Coast To Coast show radio show has changed. For those not familiar with Coast To Coast, it used to hosted by Art Bell and the website is coasttocoastam.com. For at least the past year, George Noory has been the host Monday through Thursday and he is an advocate of bringing topical issues to the forefront. Local radio affiliates around the country carry his show beginning at 12:00 or 1:00am eastern time and lasts until 5am. (My local affiliate does things differently, so therein lies the discrepancy)

Timely issues of interest to anyone concerned with what is happening are being discussed. This evening, they are interviewing Andre Eggelletion in the first hour. I have not heard of this author, or his show which is aired on the internet…see links below. First Hour: Author Andre Eggelletion will offer commentary on the Dubai Port deal, the US economy, and outsourcing.

The turn-around in this show demonstrates how the tide is turning.

but you are correct, when he's doing political shows as he's been doing lately, he does a really fine job. Art Bell is just the opposite, so it's good that they each have their specialty.

I don't like his attitude, his voice, or his viewpoint.
I only tolerate him to hear some of his guests.

Oh, and I really disliked Ian Pundet (sp) and wrote to the producer regarding my displeasure.
Ian struck me as a fundie.

And I rather like his voice and usually his viewpoint although not always.

George leans more left than Art, and that might color my perception.

I really felt bad for Art when he recently lost his wife. I know she was his world.

I definitely like George's politics better than Art's, no question.

But I appreciate Art's skill with the non-political topics, especially science and pseudoscience

I never liked Art Bell and was tickled when George took over. There are things that he says that piss me off at times because they are so tilted to the regime's opinions.

His ego also gets in the way, if you know what I mean.

I've always found him to be, at time, odious to callers. At least he has calmed, somewhat anyway, in his cheeleading for buxh et al. When I first started listening, in 2002, he was really repulsive at the time. However, I really felt awful for him after losing his wife. She had really bad asthma but I cannot, for the life of me, understand the fact that she had that problem and he had all those cats. That did not help. I understand that they both loved the cats but that was the first thing that occurred to me, to be perfectly honest.
The way that George poo-poo's global warming, looking for anything other than the obvious cause ot main contributor irritates me to no end as well.

i listen on the way home from work--tonight`s show was "different" than the last time i listened. i think george has finally decided that bush is failure and he`s damaged the country in ways that will take years to fix..

He has even spoken of how important it is to address what is happening. He has a social conscience, and I admire that.
He even said that is why he is having these certain guests on....he is trying to make a difference and getting them airtime.

So, I'll listen later on but if that's the case, HALLELUYAH!!! It's about damn time.
