Cell phones tied to family tension

"The study, which followed more than 1,300 adults over 2 years, found that those who consistently used a mobile phone or pager throughout the study period were more likely to report negative "spillover" between work and home life -- and, in turn, less satisfaction with their family life.

Spillover essentially means that the line between work and home begins to blur. Work life may invade home life -- when a parent is taking job-related calls at home, for instance -- or household issues may start to take up work time"

2. how can you hate an inanimate object?
you hate cell phones, I think anyone still paying for a land line is a sucker. So there you go. I haven't had a land line since January of 2000, few of my friends do either. And I've noticed this little feature on most mobile phones, crackberries and the like, it's called a 'power switch' I don't know why so many people feel compelled to answer the phone when it rings. Hit silent and go back to your conversation.

3. Too much talking + Not enough communication skill...
Equation for more frustration and anger.

4. My company offered to pay my cell phone bill.
I didn't accept the offer. Why? Because I knew that then I would be getting business calls after work. If they don't pay for it, I don't have to answer it.

My cell phone is for emergencies and long distance.

And my life at home is sweet.
