Girl In Golf-Club Attack Over Boy To Go Free

POSTED: 6:07 pm EST March 9, 2006
UPDATED: 6:59 pm EST March 9, 2006

The family of a Central Florida teen who suffered brain damage after being beaten by a golf club-wielding girl was outraged Thursday after learning the attacker will soon be set free, according to Local 6 News.

Andrea Ross was 16 years old when she beat Mistie Caldwell in the head in 2004 during a fight over a boy in Titusville, Fla.

Caldwell was diagnosed with brain damage after the attack and will have to be on medicine for the rest of her life, Local 6 News reported.

Thursday, she begged a judge to keep Ross locked up.

"She almost murdered me," Caldwell said. "If someone tried to kill your son or daughter you would want them to stay in jail a little longer than 14 months."

2. The judge was probably a golfing fan....
Who knows why so little time, maybe because they need more room for pot smokers and people that smoke in bars.
