1. That interesting. if you ever need a strong magnet the one in a hard
drive is super strong. Srong enough to mash a blood blister on your fingers too.

2. I have several..... and here is a little known fact. If you take 4 or 5
of them.... and get yourself an aluminum tube say, 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter.... stick the 4 or 5 together, (be careful, I know you know) and drop them down a 2 or 3 foot length of this aluminum pipe. It will take a considerable amount of time for them to drop through the tube cuz a reflective magnetic field will be set up in the aluminum... hold the magnet still against the tube you feel nothing... stroke the magnet back and forth on the outside of the tube and you will feel resistance proportional to the speed at which you move the magnets.... interesting effect that I would think has many potential applications.

5. when you stroke them on a piece of copper it does the same
and as you do that the pipe heats up too. I think it is because it is building up an electrical charge. A high current and very low voltage, I believe. I'll be showing my neighbor this experiment. He's all the time making something and I bet he didn't know about the aluminum tube experiment.
