There's no link, I got this from the Globe paper/tabloid. Take it with a molecule of salt, considering the source BUT these days, the media we considered reliable have been anything but..

All these tabloids used to always have stories about the aliens from outer space that had taken over the government. did they ever give credit to Bush-Cheney for ending the interplanetary outsourcing?:shrug:

Yes, they do have a lot of really silly-ass "Aliens impregnated my dog!" stories, but when it's to do with real people they're usually pretty solid on the hard facts.
Slander suits cost a chitload of $$$, as they found out to their chagrin, so they get more than one source for alleged behavior.

Sirius radio's Alex Bennett just broke a rumor that the delay in reporting the news that Cheney shot an old man in the heart was due to an effort to hide or spin Cheney's female companion.

Pamela Willeford (shown right), ambassador to Switzerland and -- yes -- Liechtenstein, was part of the hunting excursion with Cheney and Whittington. And according to Willeford's account, Cheney and the ambassador were side-by-side when the shooting of Whittington took place.

Now, I am clearly not the first person to suggest that the Vice President might have been hunting a little more than quail with Pamela Willeford. For the record, I'm not even really suggesting it, I'm just offering up a possibility - a possibility that has gained more credence because of Cheney's cult of secrecy. Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

But what's clear is that Willeford's name didn't arouse much attention until the fourth day of the cover-up. Now imagine the kind of attention she would have received if she was the shooter.

There would have been a lot of questions directed at her. Who is she? What was she doing there? Why is the Vice President on a weekend get together with this woman? What is the history of their friendship?

A lot of news story have described the 28 gauge shotgun as a smaller, less powerful gun. Some have called it a woman's gun. What if it was? What if Willeford was less experienced with a gun or if she was the one that was drinking a little too much?

It's possible that the only thing more damaging than the Vice President shooting someone might be his mistress shooting someone. I know this is terrible. Sheer speculation. How dare I? I'm a bad, bad man.

The other, and I believe older (if I remember correctly), is jointed and is just manually put into position. The use of these implants has probably decreased since the new ED drugs have come onto the market.

The Enquirer prints sleazy stories that happen to be true. Ever since they got sued for libel "big-time" a couple of decades ago (was it Carol Burnett?) they make sure their derogatory information is correct or at least defensible in court.

Key phrase as defensible in court is any lie told without malice.

The poster above you has it right. Sometimes the info is correct. But I wouldn't take premise of "it must be true or they would be sued" as credibility. A simple google search on their site using the word Clinton will tell you all you need to know.

If everything I read in the supermarket check out line were true, Bill and Hillary would have gotten a divorce four years ago.
