13. That's what a lot of of us were saying a few weeks ago.
There may be something to his relationship with Katharine Armstrong, who was apparently standing right next to Dick when he pulled the trigger. She appeared to made a false initial statement to police that nobody was drinking.

Tawdry. But, as in Seven Days in May it was the illicit relationship with a woman not his wife that brought the General down before his attempted coup could consolidate power.

20. CHENEY'S OTHER WOMAN
Notoriously secretive Vice President Cheney's bizarre hunting accident has alot of people wondering why 14 hours elapsed before a near-deadly mishap was publicly reported. Some speculators are saying Cheney was hunting more than quail when he shot his pal Harry Whittington on the ranch of a Texas lobbyist on Feb 11 and needed time to cover up an affair with a longtime gal pal. "It's Cheney's Chappaquiddick!" dec;ares an internet blogger. He was with a woman to whom he was not married. Others suspect booze was involved that the 65-year-old veep needed time to sober up or that Cheney had a heart problem that made him collapse and accidently pull the trigger, shooting Whittington, 78.

-snip-

Some bloggers even wildly suggest that Cheney hunting partner, Pamela Pitzer Willeford, the U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, actually fired the errant shot but Cheney took the blame to divert attention away from her. This much IS known-Cheney was in a three person hunting party on the 50,000 acre ranch of lobbyist Katharine Armstrong and at about 5:00pm Whittington was hit in the torso, neck and face by approximately 200 pellets from a 28-gauge shotgun.

-snip-

"Has anyone asked if it might have been the other hunter who actually shot Harry Whittington?" ponders lawyer and broadcaster Cenk Uygur. "Imagine the kind of attention Willeford would have received if she was the shooter. It's possible the only thing more damaging than the vice president shooting someone might be his mistress shooting someone!"

-snip-

Meanwhile, Cheney's relationship with Willeford- whose physician husband George was at the ranch that weekend but didn't hunt- is longstanding. She collected $23,000 for Bush/Cheney campaign, serves as head of the Texas Higher Education Board and was appointed to the highly sought-after ambassadorship to Switzerland. But even without Willeford, the incident reeks of cover up, say sources. "Someone with a documented history of drinking problems causes a serious accident and then avoids the authorities for a period of time, long enough to get the alcohol out his system, " says broadcaster R.J. Eskow. "It's about power, drinking, irresponsibility, and dishonesty. If there was a romance going on, the issues are the same. Along with the secret mistress and drunken gun play theories, some bloggers believe that Cheney had a heart problem and his implanted defibrillator kicked in, jolting him into shooting his gun.

-snip-

I posted this the other day after my husband brought home a copy from the Airport.
There's no link, I got this from the Globe paper/tabloid. Take it with a molecule of salt, considering the source BUT these days, the media we considered reliable have been anything but..

Yes, they do have a lot of really silly-ass "Aliens impregnated my dog!" stories, but when it's to do with real people they're usually pretty solid on the hard facts.
Slander suits cost a chitload of $$$, as they found out to their chagrin, so they get more than one source for alleged behavior.

24. There have been allegations made well before this!
The tabs were late out of the gate on this one. Here are a few instructive links:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-cesca/was-cheney-hiding-his-lew_b_15705.html

Sirius radio's Alex Bennett just broke a rumor that the delay in reporting the news that Cheney shot an old man in the heart was due to an effort to hide or spin Cheney's female companion.

Pamela Willeford (shown right), ambassador to Switzerland and -- yes -- Liechtenstein, was part of the hunting excursion with Cheney and Whittington. And according to Willeford's account, Cheney and the ambassador were side-by-side when the shooting of Whittington took place.

The vice president's Secret Service detail had to decide what to do with Willeford by way of perhaps covering up her relationship with Cheney, and thus the delay in reporting the news.

The rumor goes that Lynn Cheney isn't happy with Cheney's close relationship with Willeford...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cenk-uygur/what-if-cheney-wasnt-the_b_15780.html

Now, I am clearly not the first person to suggest that the Vice President might have been hunting a little more than quail with Pamela Willeford. For the record, I'm not even really suggesting it, I'm just offering up a possibility - a possibility that has gained more credence because of Cheney's cult of secrecy. Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

But what's clear is that Willeford's name didn't arouse much attention until the fourth day of the cover-up. Now imagine the kind of attention she would have received if she was the shooter.

There would have been a lot of questions directed at her. Who is she? What was she doing there? Why is the Vice President on a weekend get together with this woman? What is the history of their friendship?

A lot of news story have described the 28 gauge shotgun as a smaller, less powerful gun. Some have called it a woman's gun. What if it was? What if Willeford was less experienced with a gun or if she was the one that was drinking a little too much?

It's possible that the only thing more damaging than the Vice President shooting someone might be his mistress shooting someone. I know this is terrible. Sheer speculation. How dare I? I'm a bad, bad man.
http://www.alternet.org/story/32311/

Is Pam Willeford more than Cheney's hunting partner?

Sirius Radio's Alex Bennett came out and said what many folks in the media had been whispering about but were too timid to report: Pam Willeford, the ambassador to Switzerland and Lichtenstein who was standing at Cheney's side when the shotgun went off, could be more than his hunting partner. RJ Eskew has more: "The real story is already emerging, if you're willing to do a little digging. Cheney and Whittington went hunting with two women (not their wives) …"

An AlterNet search on Cheney's ties to Pam Willeford revealed that:

She and her husband George have made at least two overnight visits to the Bush White House between June 2002 and December 2003.
She and her husband were overnight guests at Camp David on one occasion between January 2001 and December 2002.
Pamela hosted a reception in Davos, Switzerland, for Vice President Cheney on Jan., 23, 2004.
Pamela's daughter, Emily, was named deputy chief of staff to the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission in June 2005.

55. Yes, there are at least two
kinds. May be more now, but I haven't had much to do with urology recently. One penile implant consists of bladders placed in each side with a manual "pump" in the scrotum. The other, and I believe older (if I remember correctly), is jointed and is just manually put into position. The use of these implants has probably decreased since the new ED drugs have come onto the market.

The following site shows the two kinds - but I see there is no longer a "jointed" one - just a "malleable" one. Maybe they don't make the jointed one any more.

Key phrase as defensible in court is any lie told without malice.

The poster above you has it right. Sometimes the info is correct. But I wouldn't take premise of "it must be true or they would be sued" as credibility. A simple google search on their site using the word Clinton will tell you all you need to know.
