Habeas Schmabeas at Gitmo: A camp full of our mistakes. A Must-Hear!

The public radio show "This American Life" this week airs a devastating expose about the prisoners at Guantanamo. They reveal details gleaned from the recent Gitmo document dump that show shockingly high numbers of people deemed innocent are still being detained. Live interviews with former detainees show just how ordinary some of these mistakenly detained people really are - far from the "worst of the worst" terrorists that we're supposed to believe are held at Gitmo.

The show was so riveting that I had to sit in the parking lot at Office Depot for 20 minutes to listen. I couldn't tear myself away to go into the store, and besides I was afraid I'd start crying or screaming or both if I tried.

I guess he got picked up for complaining about the US Military dumping trash in a field, or something (not just a terra-ist, an environmentalist! Quick- hook him up to a car battery!) similar. Then, they asked him where Osama Bin Laden is, and he said "Afghanistan"--- and how do you know? "I saw it on the television"

Yep. Those are some real evildoers we've got in them places.
