Has Claude Allen and his $5,000 Escapade at Target & Hechts been mentioned

on any of the Sunday pundit shows? Is it another Bush scandal gone dead from lack of interest? :shrug:

I believe it hit the friday news cycle, that of course was planned. I have never understood why fridays news fall on deft ears, but it appears to do just that.

This should be a big story, but with all the really big stories about this administration inability to govern. I suppose the powers to be in our media, ranked it pretty low on the scale of importance.

I'm guessing that the answer is 'no'.

What's strange about this is how involved he was in this administration. I hadn't heard about him until his little shop-lifting escapade, but he was one of Bush's top advisers, a position given to him after he was turned down as a Circuit Court judge!

He worked with youth organizations, also according to what I have read ~ so the question arises, since Bush et al thought so highly of him they sent him out to influence, (positively we have to assume) America's at risk youth, shouldn't the media, so concerned about the influence Clinton's little escapade might have on young people, be really, really concerned about what kind of example this will be on young people?
