Now that the UAE deal is supposedly behind us I see that the GOP is fighting such Dems as Feingold by stating issues such as censure take away from * fighting his war on terror.

I am sorry but the days of any right winger being able to defend him must be stopped at once. When they say that * is strong we must remind them that * was willing to use his very first veto to override what people in the entire country wanted. It did not matter what the average Joe thought and it did not matter what anyone in congress or the senate thought.

The UAE allegedly backing down from a deal does not change the fact that * put up his middle finger to the whole country and said he would do what he wanted to do and he knew better than any other person in this country.

For anyone, at this point, to say that * was right about the UAE is to say that everyone else is wrong and we should vote all of the bums out. Remind them of this and shove it down their throats. They must not be allowed to keep touting the tough on terror stance.

In conjunction with this, we must never say a Republican candidate's name without mentioning *'s name in the very same sentence. * is soft on terror and these people have been supporting his agenda the entire time. They are all connected and must remain so. * must become the pork chop tied around the ugly child's neck.

From here on out when you hear someone say how great * is and how tough he is on terror, it is now our job to remind them that UAE backing out does not change the stance * took on the issue. Repeat this and repeat it loudly. If we raise a big enough stink about this then at the very least our 'representatives' will try and distance themselves and nothing else this cabal wants will go through.

It seems like a long time ago, but remember when one of our spy planes went down over/near China in early 2001, and the plane and crew were taken hostage? Bush was unable to get China to give the plane back. Eventually, after China had pulled the plane apart and gotten all the technical information they could, the plane was shipped back to the US... at our expense.

The concept that Bush is a "tough guy" and "doesn't back down" is just bullshit marketing and campaign spin.

from what I remember about the incident, which involved some hotdogging by a foolish Chinese pilot (who got himself killed by flying UNDER the planes wing, where, oops, the US pilot suddenly banked into his cockpit).

This was the same style mission that probes potential enemie's airspace and seeks to 'light up' air defenses, as with numerous Cold War missions into Soviet airspace, some resulting in downed aircraft and men taken prisoner. The history of this is fascinating. Diplomacy is sorely lacking.

Maybe the planes should have Wal-Mart markings on them instead, however.
