Link to Satellite images?
I know there was a website link on here at one point for finding your house from space...a little creepy, but now I need it because I want to see the location of our potential vacation house on the coast. If someone has the link I would appreciate it

you're pretty limited as to resolution, at least that's what I've found. Google Earth is pretty good as far as cities go. You can clearly see cars in Boston for instance, but stinks in wild areas. Terraserver is OK in wild areas, eight meter resolution, IIRC and you can get three meter if you're willing to pay for it.

I know about google earth and satellite imagery and aerial photography, the clarity of the image is sort of dependent on where your house it. If you're relatively close to a city or metro area, you'll probably find images that are more clear than if you live in rural areas. Example, look at downtown Phoenix, you can zoom in to the point you can make out individual cars, in some cases tell the difference between a car and a truck. Head west, and you'll quickly find that the resolution decreases the farther you get from the city center. This is pure guess at this point, but I think the high resolution images of the city centers are aerial photos taken from relatively low flying aircraft, while the images outside the city centers are basically a collage of lower resolution satellite photos. I couldn't tell from reading the google earth documentation as they explain their system in a rather poor manner.
