Democratic senator Feingold plans speech on Bush censure

Published: March 13, 2006

Latest: Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI), who introduced a censure motion Monday against President Bush, is planning to speak on the Senate floor late Monday afternoon to outline his case, aides tell RAW STORY.

His office expects the speech around 4 pm.

Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI), speaking on ABC's "This Week," declared that he will introduce a censure motion against President George W. Bush over the President's warrantless wiretapping program.

It would be VERY UNWISE for Feingold to give his speech before or at the same time as King Chimp's daily propaganda speech.

7. VERY GOOD, Senator Feingold!!! He's showing more media sense than Kerry.
Feingold has proven himself media savvy. It appears that he pushed an early (but false) notice that he would be speaking at noon, which allowed the Shrub shocktroopers to coordinate to this false time. Once they were baited, he then delayed his message to circumvent the Shrub media block.

I just called them. They support the resolution to Censure the President of the United States for his illegal actions in wiretapping Americans without a legal warrant.
