Buddha Boy Dissappeared!
I am interested in what you folks can tell me about the Buddha Boy that dissappeared.
According to the Wikipedia Article, he has been meditating under a tree for about
ten months from dawn til dark. (a myth arisen that he does not eat or drink) according
to a news report, he was bitten by a poison snake back in the fall.

I love this story.

3. I did not find any story where he claimed
he had fasted and gone without water...Most of the stories I found
indicated that 'it was reported that' etc., In other words people around
him are saying that.

He himself has had very little reported as his own statement.

One story reported he had spoken briefly to clarify that he is NOT the Buddha.
(or a reincarnation of Buddha)He claimed he was a lesser kind of holy man.

Another story, reporting on the snakebite said he declined medical attention
and said that he said this was a " test " for him.

I am not surprised to see the skepticism. I am skeptical too. (of the claim
of divinity and not eating or drinking.) However, I have to say that I am
stunned to imagine a teen age boy sitting under a tree meditating all day
(there is apparently no dispute of this fact)

I think its somewhat inspirational...even adventurous. How would you
'feel' to meditate for ten months straight.
