We cannot just sit by and watch this erosion without speaking up. Looking at numerical "impossibility" or "unlikelihood" and just giving up has never been a constituent part of Courage.

Sen. Feingold slapped down Soledad O'Brien's Republican talking points HARD! And the CNN article on Feingold's speech is the #1 item on the CNN.com "top stories" list after the Moussaoui trial lead. (Meanwhile, it's buried two clicks down on the MSNBC.com front page - what's up with that??)

13. I'm not giving up, but I don't pee into the wind either.

The awful fact is that 95% of Murkins won't even HEAR about this and 90% of those won't give a shit one way or the other. And even IF by some miracle, a censure were to be approved, it wouldn't change any minds...that's all I'm sayin'. I want INDICTMENTS, not milquetoast "resolutions of disapproval", which don't accomplish anything.
