44. It is discouraging. When I've called in the past, I 'might' get a

form letter from KBH's office referencing something I didn't even call about.
As for Cornyn, the only response I've ever had from him was a written plea for money. :eyes:

I told them I'd just watched Feingold's speech, was wondering if they'd come out with a position yet. No position yet from either, but I asked them to pass along my support. Told them "He should be impeached, let alone censured!"

First time I heard from Cantwell's office that they could 'see' I was calling from WA state. lol! I wonder if they all have called id now, since the Alito vote? :D

Been making a pest of myself with Cantwell. She's so timid about being a Democrat. I'm surprised she lets them put a (D) next to her name at all. I keep reminding her that she's got some opposition on the right and on the left. She should care! Washington state political races will be tight if the last few are any indication. Cantwell won by 1000 votes on a re-count. Our governor by less.

called Sen. Feingold's office offering my support, then, I called mine again, but at their local offices, since the first calls to them were in DC.

Then, I called Sen. Reid's office asking him to support Feingold.

Then, I called Sen. Frist's office telling him as the majority leader he had a moral obligation to the American people, not to George Bush* to uphold and protect all civil liberties protected under the US Constitution.
