Like right now. I'm calling his sattelite office here in Davenport. The young guy who works there is familiar with me and is still a nice guy in spite of that. Be back with a definitive answer asap.
On edit- Too late. The office is closed. Oh well, I'm sure they will return my call. They are good about that, unlike the other Senator in our great state.

7. Obama has been increasingly a disappointment
He seems more interested in playing the middle for his own political career than in taking important positions.

8. I called Obama's office in Chicago today immediately after Russ spoke
in the Senate. The staffer that answered the phone told me that "he hasn't made a public statement on this yet".

Give the guy a break will ya, until he comes out publicly and says how he feels about this...

If you're that worried about his vote, call and let his staffers know that you insist he support this..
