When is the next 'smiley face' pep rally for Iraq from our esteemed leader?

The Bush* cabal once again sticks it's collective head in the sand. Vowing there is no civil war in Iraq. What is their criteria for civil war? Must be an awfully high threshold.

Police found 29 bodies on the eastern side of the capital in a Shiite neighborhood

Fifteen bodies also were found Tuesday morning in a truck in a Sunni neighborhood

Another two bodies were discovered in southern Baghdad.

1. The US military refuses...

...to maintain and publish a record of Iraqi casualties---I wonder if they'd consider keeping a regular periodic count of Iraqis who are still alive. Might be an easier statistic to maintain and would get easier by the month.

2. You can't see the civil war for all the bodies.
Just like you can't see the forest for the trees.

Let's all stop waiting for an official declaration that's never coming. From now on I propose that the "war in Iraq" be referred to as the "Civil War in Iraq" or "the Iraqi civil war". If progressives start using the term it may just stick but if you're waiting for Rummy to announce it you're going to be waiting for a long time.

4. Excellent point
I've wondered the same thing. I mean, when does it "officially" become a civil war? No matter how bad things get, they'll never admit it's a civil war.

This administration will never admit there's a civil war, just like they'll never admit there's global warming. Deny deny deny.

3. "Bodies found" sounds much less violent than "people killed"
apparently they've been finding a few American soldiers' bodies, too.
