I knew it! I trust nothing that comes from the Bush "folks". Meanwhile we are on to the next scandal...we can't keep up it seems. I'm always suspicious because Bush never backs down. He just lies and cheats and refuses to provide any real information.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - A Democratic US senator demanded that the US administration provide proof that an Arab firm is proceeding with its announced sale of operations at several US ports, after news reports raised questions about the deal.

Senator Chuck Schumer said at a press conference that despite United Arab Emirates-owned Dubai Ports World's avowed intention to sell its newly acquired rights to operate six key US ports, "we're now learning that appearances may have been different from reality."

An email released yesterday from a senior security official at the port of Miami ... cast even more doubt on DP World's promise to sever its US operations," Schumer said.

"The official essentially said that nothing had changed," said Schumer, calling the revelation "extremely troubling."

Nothing at all has changed..The deal was sealed weeks ago, and these folks play hardball..they will not lose money in the deal..and that's what it's really all about...money..
