6. Allard and the Repukes are al Qaeda's best friends...
Everything Nero and his toadies have done have only helped al Qaeda.

Oh, sure, we invaded Afghanistan, but can you say "Tora Bora?"

Someone tell that terrorist sympathizer to STFU.

21. Im sick when people say that Afghanistan was a good thing.
Edited on Tue Mar-14-06 06:06 PM by bullimiami
It was not good, it was not right, it was in no way justifiable.

If bush gave a flying fuck about the people of afghanistan he wouldnt have been trying to cut a deal with the taliban for a pipeline, wouldnt have been giving them 43m dollars as a bribe, he wouldnt have threatened them with a carpet of gold or a carpet of bombs, he wouldnt have bombed and indiscriminately killed untold numbers of poor innocents, he wouldnt have forced them to accept a corrupt corporate crony as leader who, of course being a unocal insider, got them their pipeline.
He bombed and murdered to take what the corporatocrats wanted from afghanistan, never really dealt with the taliban or al qaida or even bothered to get bin laden.
afghanistan is as sad, corrupt, heroin producing, oppresive and poor as ever. and no one seems to care.

I would have been all for getting rid of the taliban and setting up a real democratic government for the benefit of the people of afghanistan. didnt happen. greed happened.

15. Instead of tackling the issue they slime the messenger...as usual.
Voters of both parties have concerns about domestic spying and I'd love to have had the pleasure of watching the republican senator squirm during a debate. We deserve to have every senator's official position and not allowing debate lets both parties straddle the line with a public blurb here or there depending on which way the populist wind is blowing. No matter how or why Feingold went about this, the democrats threw away a truly golden opportunity.

Feingold probably 'terrorizes' the crap out of them by standing up to them. Cause a republican fear, and you're a terrorist. Bottom line.

18. This is getting to be a joke. They say this every time.
Page right out of the Third Reich propaganda playbook.

Accuse your opponents of being unpatriotic.

So predictible. It's losing its impact.

23. Yup but it is pure fascism.
#219 - From the fourteen points of fascism:
(3.) Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause: The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

*yawn*

These people have no brains; they are like the Borg. They think as a collective, they act as a collective, and after 5 years of this shit, I (and doubtless many other people) can predict with pinpoint accuracy EXACTLY what they will say anytime someone dares to question them, stand up to them, or call them on their bullshit. :eyes:

forth in the constitution is with the terrorists, they win when Democracy loses.... Checks and balances were put in place and our Reps. need to make this administration accountable for many things. Patriotism is having the guts to stand up to the bully and do the right thing..

Russ Feingold is a mega patriot....

He doesn't sleep, he waits.

He died ten years ago, but the Grim Reaper can't get up the courage to tell him.

He can divide by zero and slam revolving doors.

Do not fuck with him!:D
