"The Democrats are the gift that keeps on giving"
I resent that statement, but deep down, there is a hint of truth to it.

Lou Dobbs had a partisian (read: Republican) panel on. Tony Blankley, and two others (sorry, forgot their names).

This was the general consensus: No matter how bad(ly) the Republicans perform, the Democrats aren't any better.

I don't see why "we" have to present a plan. Seems to me every time a Dem proposes a bill and/or amendment, it is thoroughly slapped down by the Republicans.

1. Yea, I resent that statement too, me thinks the pukes are just trying
to put the ball in our court by suggesting the dems have no plan. Honesty is the only plan I want to see, with it the rest will take care of itself

2. "Every time a Dem proposes a bill and/or amendment"
Or IDEA, "it is thoroughly slapped down by the Republicans."

Not always.......the really good Dem ideas are trashed, taken apart and re-assembled to later be presented as good repuke ideas!

Example: Offcie of Homeland Security, Iraq troop redeployment, etc.....I'm sure there are other examples.

3. It was a gross overstatement, understandably so, but
we MUST become the opposition, in the profoundest sense of the word, party. We're getting there, but it's gonna be a long slog I fear.

4. No, we don't have to present a plan, but
we do need a overall strategy.

Case in point:
The Feingold censure: Why does he seems to be standing alone in his call for a censure. If Reid and Pelosi wasn't going to support him that day, what exactly is the strategy for calling for censure ?

Rethugicans would never have left someone hanging out in the breeze like Russ. They would have had a strategy and all the little slugs would have been lined up and properly briefed on whatever role they were to play in their schemes

5. The obvious and only plan the Dems need is to replace the
current Repub administration and to get started rebuilding the damage that has been done. Simple as that.
